The Home Building Process...post #3

It's that time again! We've been hard at work building this home (The Cottage) and two others. The roof panels have been installed, along with the LP TechShield radiant barrier. We've had county inspections cmopleted for the roof and sheer wall, as well as an inspection for the electric panel that will house all of the circuit breakers. Here are some photos...

I have been in complete amazement at the energy efficiency of our home. I’ve been so struck with this aspect of our homes construction that my compulsive/obsessive nature forced me to purchase a wireless Oregon Scientific thermometer.

I’m “geek’n out” collecting daily indoor/outdoor temperature variations. We’ve had just one early morning start of the heater for the months of October and November.

For the year, my outdoor recorded low was 37.9F my indoor low was 54.0F.
While my recorded outdoor high was 118.4F and my indoor high was 79.3F.

Currently (while I type this) its 56.5 outside and inside the house it’s a cozy 74.3.

Raymus, continuing to do fantastic work!
